G'day to all! I know it sounds ambitious but I've always dreamt about starting my own watch label. Where do I start? Any suggestions?

i think if your first question is "where do i start", you really are a newbee! and also i think you'll need a s#"&load of money to start even thinking about it!

Here is what I suggested to a guy with similar idea:
Try www.121TIME.com They have two options: First, with "prefabricated" designs to choose from, where you can put your name on a dial (if this is one-off custom watch or if you need a small number of watches, corporate gift etc.) - via their website: www.RibordyWatches.com Second, they also have a department for producing watches from scratch (they have done projects for HP, Coca-Cola, Mercedes Benz, BMW etc.) - you'll find link on their main site: www.121time.com
Personally, I would not suggest to go down this route... Unless you are Saudi Sheikh or Russian Oligarch... Make one for fun for yourself and forget about it

There is SO MUCH choice these days so you'll need to come up with something REALLY unusual. An yes, for this you'll need A LOT of money.

BTW do you have any suggestions for Chinese watchmakers? I have 2 ideas - one for watches around priced around 1k (maybe Swiss made) and another very cheap ones.
